The very first thing every man or woman needs to realize is that they are sinners before a Holy God. The Lord is so concerned about sin that He created an eternal place called Hell to punish sinners. God also is so loving that He gave His Son to die on the Cross for your sins. John the Baptist said, "Behold ! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." John the Baptist knew only Jesus could be the perfect sacrifice to take away our sins. The Scriptures tells us there is only ONE way to be forgiven and go to Heaven. Jesus Himself said in John's gospel, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." The apostle Peter said in Acts 4:12, "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Have you trusted in Jesus Christ, believing He died on the Cross for your sins? No one will ever work his way into Heaven by doing good works. Romans 3:20 tells us, "Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight." Remember, Jesus is no impersonal Savior! You must trust in Him yourself, completely rely on His finished works on the Cross. You cannot be forgiven by going to, or belonging to a church. The Church does not save you! Jesus Christ can save you "if you believe with all your heart" that Jesus Christ is God, the Son of God, and that He came in the flesh to take your punishment for sins. So where are you in all of this? Are you sure of your eternal destiny? Where will you be 100 years from now? Hell is just as real as Heaven! Turn to Jesus Christ today! Trust in Him alone. Maybe you attend a church regularly, but you're not born again. Don't put your trust in an organization. Put your trust in Jesus Christ alone. If you live in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, or are visiting and would like a visit from the pastor, please call or email us.
So many Christian assemblies today are losing ground doctrinally. Many have stopped proclaiming the fundamental truths of the Faith. Paul said in 2 Tim. 4:3, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers." Teachers that have stopped preaching the Bible as the only authority for faith and practice. Many pastors and teachers today, have ignored Paul's teachings in, Titus 1:9, "holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict." Titus 2:1 says, "But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine." Have Faith Ministries relies completely on God's word for "instruction in righteousness."
